Looking for Parent Volunteers!

We will be starting the tie dye t-shirt process this week, students will be banding their shirts in Art classes, then we will need parent and staff volunteers to take the shirts home to dye in washing machines. Please check out the link if you are interested in helping out!  Thanks!

It's Back!!! RES BOOK FAIR!!!

The book fair will be in the RES Library.  It will be open Wednesday 2:30-7:00 and Thursday 2:30-7:00.  Check it out while at Open House!

This Week!

In Math this week we have been working on teamwork. Students completed silent puzzles together and they explored math manipulatives such as cubes and pattern blocks.

 

 

During Reading this week students have been selecting good books and practicing their independent reading.  Our goal is to be able to read for 20 minutes.  Right now we are reading for 16 minutes! Whoo hoo!

 Our First Day

We had an amazing First Day together.  Students loved see old friends, discovering their classroom, and sharing memories from the summer.  Here is our awesome 2nd grade community!  We are looking forward to a great year!
