RES BOOK FAIR!!!
We are having a school wide Scholastic Book Fair on Monday, September 18 and Tuesday, September 19. It will be held in Room 10
The RES Scholastic Book Fair will be open:
Monday, 9/18 -7:15-8:10am & 2:45-5:45pm.
Tuesday 9/19 -7:15-8:10am & 2:45-5:45pm.
We will have a raffle for a basket of books during the fair.
1 ticket for .25 or 5 for $1.00.
Books can be purchased online between September 12 and September 19. Information will be placed on our school home page and the book fair link is http://www.scholastic.com/bf/richmondelementaryschool9.

First Week of 2nd Grade!

Welcome 2nd Graders!
Hello students and families! I am so excited to start another amazing year getting to know you! I've been working hard getting our classroom ready for a fun field year of learning and exploring. The first day of school is Wednesday, August 30th.
Your pencil boxes are ready and waiting for you!

Summer Book Checkout!
Once again this summer the RES library media center will be holding summer book checkouts! Scholars in kindergarten and grades one, two, and three will be able to check out up to 10 books from the library media center and take them home for the summer. Starting on Thursday June 15, scholars will be bringing home “Carry Out a Good Book” bags with their summer library books. Each scholar will also get a note explaining the program and a list of books he or she has checked out for the summer. The books will be due back when school starts in the fall.
